Not bad！ Found myself on a rollercoaster。 Loved how It spanned so much time。 Love stories that span a week are hard for me to believe but there were a few other things that were hard for me to believe about this book。 Mostly that if you get off the pill don’t expect to get pregnant right away lol that’s how hormones work！ But I enjoyed the story overall :）*audiobook

Definitely a classic formula for your typical romance novel--misconnections， love triangles， you name it！ （Which means it is easy and enjoyable to read！） It took me awhile to get into it since I felt like Laurie was so mopey and unlikable at the beginning。 But she really grew into herself--as did the other characters--over the span of 10 years。 Definitely a charming and quick read for romance-lovers。

5/5⭐️ I LOVED THIS BOOK SOO MUCH and i really surprised about it。 i’ve never read anything from Josie Sliver but i loved her writing so much。 i got so attached to all these characters and everything going on in their lives。 i cant even believe how much of a slowburn this book was i kinda wish there was more then just a kiss and oh my god i was furious there was no epilogue AFTER ALL THAT like that was the biggest mistake but i teared up during so many spots loved the dual pov i felt so connected 5/5⭐️ I LOVED THIS BOOK SOO MUCH and i really surprised about it。 i’ve never read anything from Josie Sliver but i loved her writing so much。 i got so attached to all these characters and everything going on in their lives。 i cant even believe how much of a slowburn this book was i kinda wish there was more then just a kiss and oh my god i was furious there was no epilogue AFTER ALL THAT like that was the biggest mistake but i teared up during so many spots loved the dual pov i felt so connected to both jack and laurie and teared up during the end at some parts。 i also loved the scenery of this book it gave me the warmest coziest christmas vibe 。 i would recommend this to anyone！！ read it ‼️ 。。。more

honestly idk why i kept reading it but there was smth driving me I mean SPOILER ALERT！ i think the minute that Jack and sarah got together I knew Jack Laurie would find their way and I think the HOW？ and WHY？ made me finish the book otherwise it was cliche and it was unnecessarily long I FEEL otherwise its bearable if you have patience。

3。5 ？Hmm， I have mixed feelings about this book。 I started reading One Day in December a couple of months ago but I only read 10% of it because I realised where it was going and I didn't really want to read about a girl loving her best friend's boyfriend -even though it's complicated， and she saw him first and all that。 It broke my heart when she discovers the one she was looking for is her friend's new guy。 So I never got the will to keep reading this one。 BUT， I always finish books， and I've d 3。5 ？Hmm， I have mixed feelings about this book。 I started reading One Day in December a couple of months ago but I only read 10% of it because I realised where it was going and I didn't really want to read about a girl loving her best friend's boyfriend -even though it's complicated， and she saw him first and all that。 It broke my heart when she discovers the one she was looking for is her friend's new guy。 So I never got the will to keep reading this one。 BUT， I always finish books， and I've discovered it's pretty easy to listen to an audiobook and not skip it if I listen while I'm running， so I've got the audiobook and finally finished it！！ And it was a nice story， I kinda like it， I guess？？ I can't say I loooove Jack and Laurie's relationship， but it's actually quite interesting to read a romance where the couple doesn't really get together during the majority of the book， but focus on their lives without them being a couple。 So， IDK， I liked to read about them as "people" and not as a romantic couple。 。。。more

Completed this book last night or should I say five in the morning。 The genre is romance set up in the 21st century， and has a 10 year time frame。 The one thing I love about this book is the character development of each and especially our lead Laurie。 I couldn't have asked for a better lead。 She is definitely an introvert。The one thing I particularly felt was a bit unusual is that from the cover you judge it as a romance book with an unrealistic love story and cliche or dreamy men set in romanc Completed this book last night or should I say five in the morning。 The genre is romance set up in the 21st century， and has a 10 year time frame。 The one thing I love about this book is the character development of each and especially our lead Laurie。 I couldn't have asked for a better lead。 She is definitely an introvert。The one thing I particularly felt was a bit unusual is that from the cover you judge it as a romance book with an unrealistic love story and cliche or dreamy men set in romance books。 But it is not。 As the book progresses you get to experience realistic problem regarding complicated emotions， denial， unattended feelings in our characters。 The author really drew up some good realistic and daily problems that modern world couples face。But the story starts with our leads falling I love at first sight， which is realistic or not is arguable。 It even has a dramatic ending which I haven't seen it happen apart from romantic movies with a cliche story。 When I finished the book I was a bit mixed up with my thoughts if to consider it as a cliche or a realistic modern love。Overall my rating is ⭐⭐⭐ and half。 It's a good and a easy read。 Importantly it's a patient read but keep you on your toes waiting for the next chapter。 。。。more
